Are you a passionate Specialist Exercise Instructor ready to make a real difference in people’s lives through Exercise to Music?
We’re seeking a dedicated and motivated self-employed instructor to deliver safe, effective, and engaging Exercise to Music exercise sessions for individuals recovering from or at high risk of a cardiovascular disease, cancer or managing other long-term conditions.
As an exercise to music specialist you will:
- Plan and deliver structured group exercise to music sessions tailored to the needs of participants on our ‘Staywell’ and Cardiac Rehabilitation Programmes
- Monitor participants’ safety, physical responses, and progress during sessions; adapt exercises as needed
- Provide advice on physical activity, and lifestyle modification
- Ensure all exercise sessions align with our standards and guidelines for cardio-vascular exercise as set out in the contract terms and conditions of engagement
- Deliver sessions at our purpose built Specialist Exercise Centre in Alton, with 60+ hours a week of exercise sessions reaching 1000+ people a year
This is a rare opportunity to join the largest specialist exercise team in the south east, at a leading edge provider of cardiac, cancer, pulmonary and falls rehabilitation and prevention.
We have one opportunity to lead a class on Tuesday afternoons but we are open to discussions concerning working at other times as this is a form of exercise that we would like to expand.
This is a self employed contract role paying £26.74 ph.
